Vision

The native-sleddogs, Alaskan Malamutes and Greenlanddogs are challenging the longest and most tuff selddog-races on Earth!

In these days we see modern mixbreed-dogs (Alaskan Husky) at the biggest sleddog-races. The original sleddog-breeds which pulled sleds for thousands of years have disappeared from the picture. The modern mixbreed-dogs are smaller and faster than the original-breeds Alaskan Malamutes and Greednlanddogs, but on the other hand they lost the resistance to handle cold weather and the mystic of a wolf lice sleddog has disappeared. (The modern sleddogs wear dog-jackets while pulling a sled because oft to little coat.)

Hendrik Stachnau put up the aim to challenge the longest and most tuff sleddog-races on Earth with Alaskan Malamutes and Greenlanddogs, so that these animals will not be forgotten and the spirit of this wolf like native-dog lives on.

Yukon Quest 1600km

The longest sleddog- race in Europe!

The most north sleddog-race on Earth!

The Finnmarkslöpet 1000km was never finished by an Alaskan Malamute- or Greenlanddog-Team!

2008 Hendrik Stachnau finished the Finnmarkslöpet 500km place 26, as the fastest German and the only Alaskan Malamute-, Greenlanddog-Team which ever went through the trail of the Finmarkslöpet 500km.

2011 Hendik Stachnau scratched the Finnmarkslöpet 1000km after 540km.

2014 Hendrik Stachnau wants to beat the Finnmarkslopet 1000km with Alaskan Malamutes and Greenlanddogs.
